Lawrence has been involved with renewable energy since 1978. He was engineering manager of the original Enertech Corporation in the USA in the early 1980s, during which time Enertech designed and installed close to 2000 wind turbines, both large and small, and fifty solar hot water heating systems. Lawrence directed CREDIT from 2002 until 2010.
