Dr. Sinéad Kelly
Wind energy; computational fluid dynamics.
Sinéad holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from UCD. Her Ph.D. involved CFD modelling and Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) simulations on Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm geometries. Sinéad’s research interests now also include using CFD and FSI to model flow around wind turbine blades.

Dr. Caroline Gilleran
Bioenergy.
Dr. Caroline Gilleran received her Ph.D. from NUI Galway in 2004. She is a lecturer in the Department of Applied Sciences and is the primary lecturer on the Bioenergy 1 module and supervises research students on the M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Systems.
