Finding Us
Dundalk Institute of Technology is located approximately 80 km north of Dublin and 80 km south of Belfast. Arriving from Dublin or Belfast by car, leave the motorway at the Dundalk South exit; our large wind turbine visible from the motorway is in the centre of the campus. Follow road signs.

Getting to DkIT
Public transport options to DkIT include: Matthews Coaches from Dublin/Drogheda (see printed timetables); Bus Eireann from Dublin/Dublin Airport via Drogheda (see printed timetables and here); Irish Rail from Dublin (see printed timetables); Breffni Coaches from various towns across Meath including Ashbourne and Ratoath. Matthews’ direct service from Parnell Street takes approximately 55 minutes. This is the fastest public transport service from Dublin and competitive with driving by car.
All coaches stop directly outside the campus. The train station is a 40 minute walk or five minute drive from DkIT.
